NATURAL GAS REQUIREMENTS
FUMIGATION LOCK / GAS SHUT OFF: Cost Le$$ Fumigation partners and relies on your gas provider and their technicians to coordinate the necessary gas shut off (Fumigation Lock). Cost Le$$ Fumigation will inform your gas provider of the upcoming fumigation appointment. Your gas provider will then send a qualified technician to safely turn off the natural gas service to your home. This precaution is taken to prevent gas leaks and any possible interactions between the fumigant and heat sources.

Propane Customers
Does your home operate on propane rather than a gas meter? The Homeowner/Occupant is responsible for shutting off any propane tank on the property and, if needed, contacting the propane provider to disconnect or restore service. Cost Le$$ Fumigation may be able to assist with shutting off the tank but is not liable for any damages incurred during gas disconnection assistance, particularly if your propane equipment is aged or rusted.
Gas meter located in your garage, basement, a storage closet, etc.?
On the date of your fumigation lock (gas shut-off) appointment, you may need to meet with your gas provider, as they will require access to the gas meter. Please ensure that all doors are opened for the gas technician and remove any items stored around the gas meter. Additionally, trim back any plants that may obstruct access to the meter. This will help facilitate the technician's work and prevent any delays that could hinder our ability to carry out your fumigation.
Mobile Home Park Clients
Depending on your mobile home park's policies, they may handle the fumigation lock or contact your gas provider directly. Our office will reach out to your mobile home park management prior to your fumigation date to determine the necessary steps for the fumigation lock.
